Question 1

How does the 10 FT compact design of the ABSW Plastic Washing Plant save 65% factory floor space?

Accepted Answer

Conventional plastic washing lines require 30 to 35 feet of continuous linear space for elongated float-sink tanks and drying sections. ABS Polymers re-engineered the complete washing cycle into an innovative 10 FT (3,048 mm) multi-stage design combining high-speed friction washing, dual-temperature cleaning (60°C–80°C hot wash), and an integrated centrifugal dewatering spinner. This compact footprint allows recycling operators to install high-capacity lines (250 to 5,000 kg/h) within standard factory sheds while saving ~65% floor space and reducing water draw through closed-loop filtration.

Question 2

What blade metallurgy and rotor design are engineered into ABS Polymers plastic crushers?

Accepted Answer

ABS Polymers G Series plastic crushers and granulators feature knives manufactured from precision-hardened EN41 high-carbon alloy steel. Knives are heat-treated to 56–58 HRC to resist premature blunting when processing rigid HDPE drums, woven PP bags, or abrasive automotive casings. The solid-machined steel rotor operates at an optimized 480 RPM to maximize torque, minimize dust fines, and reduce operating noise, driven by heavy-duty 3-phase Havells electric motors (20 HP to 60 HP).

Question 3

Does ABS Polymers export plastic recycling machinery and granules to the UAE and international markets?

Accepted Answer

Yes. ABS Polymers actively exports continuous plastic recycling lines, crushers, conveyors, blowers, and recycled polymer granules to the United Arab Emirates (Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi) and corridors across East and West Africa (Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania). Shipments are containerized and dispatched directly from Coimbatore via Tuticorin (VO Chidambaranar), Chennai, and Nhava Sheva ports with complete CIF documentation, export crating, and factory trial verification.

Question 4

What quality control and filtration standards are maintained for ABS Polymers recycled granules?

Accepted Answer

With 35+ years of polymer trading and compounding expertise in Coimbatore, ABS Polymers maintains strict laboratory quality control for all recycled HDPE and PP granules. Polymer scrap undergoes rigorous sorting, hot chemical wash degreasing, and double 80/100 mesh melt filtration during compounding. Every batch is verified for consistent Melt Flow Index (MFI), density, and moisture content (<0.1%) to guarantee smooth blow moulding and injection performance.

Question 5

What electrical specifications and motor brands are installed on ABS Polymers machinery?

Accepted Answer

All ABS Polymers machines are powered exclusively by Havells 3-phase AC induction motors (380V to 415V, 50Hz) paired with certified Havells thermal overload starters and electrical control panels. Voltage configurations can also be customized for 440V or 60Hz upon request for specific export destination grids.

Question 6

Where is the ABS Polymers factory located and can prospective clients inspect machines in person?

Accepted Answer

The ABS Polymers engineering headquarters and fabrication works are located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. Prospective clients, plant managers, and international buyers are welcome to visit our works for live trial demonstrations using their own polymer scrap samples to verify flake cleanliness, motor amp draw, and hourly throughput.
